Unconditional Love

Unconditional Love. We all want to be loved. And of course I unconditionally love my children. What is so beautiful to see is the unconditional love my Mom, the girls' Grandma has for them. Now that is something I am so happy to have captured.

What Do I Like?

At 10 years old, sometimes it is hard for Mom to remember what you like this week or next week or last week! So here is a layout of my oldest at 10 yrs old.

Supplies:  Urban Lily (pattern papers); ric rac (Savvy n Sassy); Close to my Heart (gems, white cardstock); Tatered Angels (glimmer mist); American Crafts (Slick Writer)

To create the banner, I used my circle punch to cut circles from the Urban Lily paper. I folded the circles in half and wrapped them around the ric rac. The adhesive I used was from Helmar...I love their adhesives! If you haven't tried them...go get some because they are seriously awesome! And we all know I am an adhesive freak!!!!!

Celebrating Easter

Have you ever participated in layout tag? It is a thrilling and fun game that involves scrapbooking. You must scraplift some element from the layout of the person in front of you. A Mini from Genuinely Jane Studios

Awhile back, I created this mini album for Genuinely Jane Studios (GJS). They are a great little company and offer high quality products. Their designs are adorable and adaptable to any themed mini album that you can think of.

My album is below. On the front page, I used some Heidi Swapp acrylic paint and added some crackle medium. Gosh, I love that stuff! It is just so amazing how the crackling works:-)

Sometimes, it seems that the second and subsequent children somehow get the short end of the stick when it comes to photos, videos, extra curricular activities and so on...I haven't completed very many pages in Danielle's first year (baby) album...well, let me be honest, I have only done a handful of pages whereas I have completed oodles and oodles of pages in Madison's first 4 years! LOL I found this birth day picture of Danielle and decided that when I do her baby album, I'll at least have an opening page! LOL

It's Official!! (with Urban Lily)

I can't tell you enough about how much I love the Urban Lily papers. Their versatility combined with the gorgeous patterns and colours continue to amaze me.

Here is a layout I created about Danielle's kindergarten school photos. I did not purchase the school photos because I did not feel they captured her beauty and spirit. Here are my pictures I took on the day and I am just so much more pleased with them.

The Inspired Scrapper - March Challenge

Here is a layout that I created for the March Inspired Scrapper challenge.

The challenge was to create a layout using both colour and black and white photos. I loved the flexibility and versatility of this challenge. Of course you could use colour and black and white photos but the possibilities of using black and white papers with colour photos is rather intriguing, don't you think?
