Another 30 min Mini!!!

In this Urban Lily mini album, I chose pictures where I could ask the girls to write a special message about each other and our family. Again, it took 30 minutes, well maybe less come to think of it, to complete! All supplies are from Urban Lily with the exception of the ribbon which is from Autumn leaves (I think!) and Tiny Alphas from Making Memories.
Here are the inside pages...Thanks for dropping by!

Blue Eyed Baby

This is one of my all time favorite pictures of Danielle. Don't you just want to pinch her cheeks and kiss her? She also looks so parisien here! LOL But what stands out to me is her navy blue eyes...and having blue eyes when both parents have black brown eyes is a sheer miracle!

Here is my layout I created using the delicious Urban Lily papers. This layout was also used for my January The Inspired Scrapper challenge which was to use 10 of something, anything. In this layout, I used 10 hand cut flowers and 10 gems; can you spot them?
Here is a close-up of the gems to help you out! LOL

Thanks for dropping by! If you haven't visited The Inspired Scrapper challenge blog, here is the link.

30 minute Mini's

I am no Racheal Ray but with the fantastic Urban Lily mini book sheets, I just might be the Rachael Ray of scrapbooking! LOL

Here is the first mini album I created - *** Warning - lots of photos ahead***

All supplie are Urban Lily with the exception of the ribbon which I believe is from Autumn Leaves.

Aren't these minis just the cutest? Madison and Danielle will be writing their own thoughts on the pages. I love that I can capture their handwriting at this point in time.

If you haven't played with Urban Lily, what are you waiting for? :-)

Thanks for dropping by!

What Makes Me Laugh???

I am so blessed to be a part of the Urban Swank team for many reasons but playing with Urban Lily products is definitely near the top! LOL I love all the Urban Lily products. This week, it was my turn to share my projects on their blog.

I recently asked Danielle this question, "What makes you laugh?" and she replied, "Oh Mommy, slides of course!" As a Mamarazzi, wouldn't you know that I had the perfect set of photos to back up her response! LOL Here is my layout...

Supplies: Urban Lily (pattern papers, chipboard circle, alphas); Making Memories (Tiny Alphas); Heidi Swapp (small gems); Glitz Designs (large gems); cardstock (source unknown); EK Success (large scallop border punch/embosser)

Here is an aerial view of the layers on the layout. (I used alot of pop dots! LOL)

A close-up of the chipboard circle. I have always loved these chipboard circles. They are fun, made with vivid colours and have fabulous sayings.

You don't have to journal a novel with every layout but I do like to put the date and location of the photos.

Thanks for dropping by and letting me share! I lots more coming but could not share until the projects were posted on the corresponding manufacturers' and challenge blogs.

Genuinely Jane Studios

I consider myself very lucky to be on the Design Team for Genuinely Jane Studios. Sue and Mark are so creative and very generous to provide us with their products. Here is my first project with GJS - hope you like it!

Oh...I wanted to add that these mini albums are made of high quality wood, are very smooth and have the most adorable cut-out on the covers. As you will see in the weeks ahead, these mini books are MORE than mini books. They are so versatile and can be easily adapted for several projects.

Without further adieu,

Supplies: Little Yellow Bicycle - papers, clear transparent stickers, epoxy stickers; Making Memories - tiny alphas; Bazzill cardstock; Glitz Designs - brown gems; Heidi Swapp - black gems; Versamagic - chalk ink; Tattered Angels - glimmer mist; BasicGrey - chipboard accent; American Crafts - pen; ribbon - source unknown

The cover ...

The filler pages are side by side and held with heavy duty binder rings.

Each page individually...

Thanks for looking! I absolutely loved making this mini book!

10 Years Ago Today!

At 1010 am (or thereabouts), Madison came into this world mad, kicking and screaming! And she has not stopped kicking and screaming and turning our lives upside down since LOL! Here we are today, just off the bus and getting ready to do some homework!

Nothing like a slobbery kiss from your little sister too! LOL

Happy Birthday Madison!

Creative Gift Packaging

This year I was striving to be organized (ha ha ha), environmental and savvy. In my fabric stash, I found some burlap. Here is what I created with the burlap - hope you like it!

I sewed burlap bags and put my gift inside. With a bit of ribbon from my burgeoning stash, a die cut created with my Big Shot, an American Crafts rub on and a wee bit of greenery from my front door display, I felt I created a lovely gift for the recipient.

Hope your holidays were fantastic! I am still tired...it's a 2-cupper day! LOL
