Happy Mother's Day!!!

May 9th is Mother's Day. I will be celebrating Motherhood. And I am extra lucky this year because my Mom is coming to visit too!

Here is a layot that I created for The Inspired Scrapper. Our challenge was to celebrate mothers and I chose to celebrate being a Mom the second time.

Welcome to my first and KIKI ART's first Design Team Blog Hop... Kiki likes to call it a BLOG HOPSCOTCH; I love that name!!! :-)

My organization is the Canadian Arthritis Society. As many of my closest friends and family know, I am challenged daily with Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is not a chronic disease of the elderly; it is a disease that affects the young and old.

Keeping Track of Time!

Using the Photocards from Urban Lily, I created perpetual calendar. It will help me remember what day it is and lets me practice counting and the days of the week with my youngest.

The front and back covers are created by covering cereal box cardboard with pattern papers (all from Urban Lily). Then I decorated the photocards, one for the days of the week and one for the "tens" and one for the "ones" of the days in a month. All of the cards were bound together with the covers using the Bind-it-all.

The Inspired Scrapper - April Challenge

How about another challenge from The Inspired Scrapper? If you haven't heard of The Inspired Scrapper, you are in for a treat! The Inspired Scrapper is a challenge blog made of 100% Canadian girls. I am so honoured to be a part of this team. All the ladies are amazing, talented and nice!

My challenge this month was to interpret a sketch by the fabulous Becky Fleck. Here is my interpretation.
