Impromptu Photos

OK I will confess, I am a Mama-razzi! My kids sometimes get tired of me following them around with the camera but they humour me nonetheless. I love taking photos, be it planned or impromptu. This layout uses 2 of my favorite photos taken during an impromptu photo shoot and is based on a sketch by Becky Fleck of Pagemaps. Supplies: BasicGrey (pattern papers, cardstock stickers, chipboard alphas, chipboard elements); Bazzill (cardstock, chocolate flower); epoxy heart (source unknown); Copic spica marker; May Arts (ribbon)

August PageMaps

In the summer with a limited amount of time, I still try to squeeze in some scrapbooking each and every day. And I was so fortunate to be a contributor to the August PageMaps newsletter. If you have not visited Becky Fleck's website, zip on over there to be inspired! Her sketches are fabulous! They are easy to follow and so versatile.

Here is my layout.

It was created using alot of Pink Paislee goodness! It shows a favorite picture I have of Madison and my Mom, more affectionately referred to as Pau Pau. Other supplies include Making Memories (chipboard); American Crafts (alpha); Heidi Swapp (alpha); Basic Grey (chipboard); Tattered Angels (glimmer mist); Versamagic Chalk Ink (jumbo java); stitching; Fiskars Upper Crest border punch.

October and November have been exciting months for me in terms of scrapbooking! Just before Halloween, I had the opportunity to be featured with Valerie Salmon's sketches. If you have never tried them before, just do it! Valerie is sooooooooooo talented...and her sketches are so versatile! Here is my interpretation of Sketch #69.
